Oriol Parés
A new media artist specializing in the use of pioneering technologies as a tool for exploring communication. He is currently a PhD student in the Contemporary Art Research group at the EHU Faculty of Fine Arts.
He finds his natural creative space at the intersection of art and science, focusing on the architecture of sound and matter, as well as their modes of organization that can positively influence the shaping of our reality. In his practice, he utilizes technology to create physical spaces for collaboration and reflection, presenting culturally established conventions from a unique perspective while encouraging the building of relationships between consciousness and nature.
His works have been presented at numerous international events and festivals, including: CICC Tabakalera (Spain), FACYL Festival (Spain), Klang Festival (Denmark), Milano Musica (Italy), Internationale Ferienkurse für Neue Musik Darmstadt (Germany), and Next Generation Donaueschingen Musiktage (Germany).
